TMSS Medical College & Rafatullah Community Hospital, Bogura

Rafatullah Community Hospital (RCH) was established in 1995 by Professor Dr. Hosne-Ara Begum, Founder and Executive Director of TMSS, at Thengamara, about 6 km north of Bogura town. It was initially a 10-bed philanthropic hospital established to provide affordable healthcare to poor and underprivileged communities. In 2008, it became a 250-bed TMSS Medical College & Rafatullah Community Hospital offering MBBS and BDS programs. By 2012, it expanded into an 850-bed tertiary-level hospital, with approval for 1,000 beds in process. Currently, the hospital operates from a 19-story building with 720,000 sq. ft. of floor space on 1.69 acres of land. It provides OPD, IPD, emergency, specialized, surgical, maternal and child healthcare, radiology, pathology, and other medical services 24/7, with subsidized or free treatment for poor and extremely poor patients.
