About Us
Grameen Green Children (G.C) Eye Hospital is an eye-care hospital located in Bogura, Bangladesh. It was developed as a social business initiative focused on preventing avoidable blindness, particularly cataract-related blindness, and making quality eye care affordable and accessible. The hospital originated from the Prevention of Cataract Blindness Project established by Grameen Bank in 2001. The Grameen Green Children Eye Hospital in Bogura was inaugurated on May 12, 2008, with support from Professor Muhammad Yunus and the Green Children Foundation.
